This shock has an Monotube high pressure gas type of shock absorber with hose mounted reservoir,Single tube design, 46MM Piston , Adjustable rebound damping Adjuster wheel or slot above the eye end or on the reservoir and Adjustable compression dampening. Adjuster wheel or slot on the reservoir.
When buying at HRP , we will set the shock for you, if needed we will change the spring to your weight(If not included in the kit the spring may have additional cost) , so you will be saving money, and you can be sure that the shock will be threated on OHLINS service shock machines so no scratch's on the shock or on the spring from the mountings.
 
Note that - this shock is longer and has a bigger stroke than the CRF250L shock.
